as of right now, I have to push my thumb throttle about a fourth of the way in before i get any rise in rpm. I was wondering how do you adjust the throttle cable?
Sounds like your cable is really stretched. There should be a threaded piece on the cable before it goes in the throttle housing. You can screw that in and out to adjust.
(long whisle) sound like your cable is out of adjustment your most like better off replaceing it from what you telling us. If you were to adjust it it wouldn't be very much better.
Yeah , new cable is cheap , before installing it spray some good oil on the cable and work it back and forth so the cable will last longer , it will displace moisture that can corrode the cable .
