Wondering where thread lock needs to be used on the motor( clutch basket, flywheel, etc) & what color..blue or red? Thanks guys!

Really??? I thought i had seen a post where Awk said he almost locked his motor up because the clutch adjustment nut almost came off on him so i was curious! Thanks sheeblast!

you need blue loctite for the screws that hold the reeds, cause you cant put the reeds too tight, and they would vibrate out if u didn't use it, other than that i believe you dont need anymore

Yeah but phragle, you're using your blaster in the type of environment that none of the rest of our blasters will ever see... out in the middle of a desert race you can't afford a breakdown because a loose bolt AND you have all the in the world to wrench on it once you get back because you're probably going to tear into every single piece of it to check everything out anyway.

The proper torque specs should keep the (fairly) well balanced blaster engine/frame together to a reasonable expectation. The reed cage is about the only place you can't really tighten up the bolts and it's a VERY bad thing if one backs out.
