im not really sure if this is the right place tell me if its not, but i was wondering i read that if u make sure there is no slack in the throttle cable it will give more power, could someone tell me if this is true.

Takeing slack out of a cable will not give you power unless that slack impeads full throttle pull.

jay is correct.......taking the slack out of the cable will allow the carb slide to open more, which some may translate as having more power. However, you have the same power you've always had. Adjusting the slack out of the cable just let's you access more of the existing power.
