This sucks!!

Well on my way to the heart specialist, i get on I-65 and am getting on it to get accelerated to highway speeds and hear ding! Look down and check gauges light is on. Oil pressure is 0. Quickly throw the truck in nuetral shut down the engine and pull over. Had to get my uncle out tehre and waited 2 hours on the side of I-65. A state cop stopped and asked if everything was ok. So I missed my doctors appointment and teh durango is broke. Its at the shop now for a 400 dollar fix. What a terrible day.

good catch stopping as soon as you noticed a problem, but forget the truck, thats fixable, get that doctors appointment rescheduled asap !!!!

oil pump. its been going bad for a little while.

The appointment is rescheduled for next thursday and we have another car(mine) just have to go get t and were leaving here in about 10 minutes to do so.

Might be carma, you weren't next to that semi when the tire blew, therefore you didn't make the evening news.

Good catch!! Could have been much worse. I recently wired a mustang up that had the electric fuel pump tied in to the oil pressure sender so if it lossed oil pressure it cut off fuel pressure.Should be that way in all vehicles.lol
