This looks cool

not worth the trouble according to some. neat if you ask me, but would i use it? nope.

I would like to puchase only the pump and radiator. Using a DT200 cylinder and head (or this proported cheetah cub BBK) would be much simpler if it didn't involve the DT125R clutch cover JUST for the water pump...

actually some time ago...........ok back in around 1991-92 there was a water cooled head introduced to the public for the blaster (cant remember now who did it). no water pump. it used heat to circulate the water (like an old coffee pot does). it had an elevated water outlet that led to the lower radiator inlet (i.e. heat rises) that then forced the water from the top of the radiator to a very low water inlet at the head that was cooler.

It didnt move water very fast, but it did move the water the hotter it got. the big problem was that it didnt cool the cylinder especially around the exhaust port where it needs it the most.

we (all of us) just need Calvin (the maker of the cheetah cub, dm, saber, puma, caracal, etc.) to make or adapt one of his triple port bad boy banshee/honda cylinders he makes to fit our blaster cases. something with a 250r or polaris sled reed cage that can handle a 40+mm carb. Then we adapt a small 12v thermostatically controlled in-line water pump that runs on a pair of 50c Lipo saddle packs and we convert 12v ac to 12v dc to charge that battery quickly.
