what all do i need for spark? i dont have any lights. tors. or oil. i just need spark. i have the wires coming out of the cdi back the the stator wires and the orange wire into the coil. then the ground under the coil into the black wire coming from the stator.
this is really p'ssn me off..

I think you need the black wire with the white stripe coming out of the cdi grounded or hooked up to the ignition switch
Make sure you got a good ground connection were the the ignition coil is bolten down on the frame.. Has happened to me a couple of times
