This is a Vito's high compression head gasket

i wouldnt spend 13.50 on it. i bought a whole namura gasket kit for 14.00 shipped to my door. i aint gonna use the head base gasket, but it came with the head gasket, intake gasket and exhaust gasket.

I agree that the price for that on on ebay is high. I got a great deal on one from a member here. My Yamaha dealer only wanted $8 for an OEM one.

Yes, this could also be used to gain some compression back after swimming up a jug too though. It could be used with the redesigned head as well. As far as blowing head gaskets.....if the surfaces are true are properly torqued it shouldn't be an issue. Anything is possible but I wouldn't let it hinder me.
