thinking about building a light bar for my truck

im thinking about building a light bar to mount on the bumper of my truck im thinking about building one that looks like this but im not sure what to make it out of any ideas on other light bars

You have plenty of options for material to use. DOM tubing is probably the best choice. If you don't have access to a tubing bender then you could always notch bend them and weld the seams.

If you use DOM aka ERW tubing make sure the seam is to the top or bottom of the bends, never on the inside or outside. Call around to local auto shops specialized in custom exhaust. They will have a Bender there that should do small tubing.

that's a good idea about the tube bender ill call around and find out

there is a company that sells ones that are really similar.... but are only tack welded and u finish the welds out yourself that are like half price, i cant remember the name now though
