think these reeds are done for???????

well im getting alot of midrange sputter and bogging and was told to check the reeds.. well here they are..
they should not be sitting up off the reed cage at all !!! maybe try to flip em and see what happens but i doubt it.
I got boteson pro's for mine ..I like em but v force is better..I ordered my v force last week and there on a two week back order...ugggggg

I had some that looked like that, ran fine, but they werent sitting that far off the back. Like Daniel3877 said, I'd flip them and try it. I got Boyeson's in mine, they are fairly cheap, stock ones are really cheap, But Vforce would be the way to go for performance.
i just want this bike to run good in midrange thats were she does all her ridding at she wont even hit a powerband yet... is there two types of boyesen reeds? power reeds and stock right.. ohhh and i did flip em runs a little better at least doesnt bogg untill it stalls now.. .
when you fliped them did they sit flat..or were they bowed or warped in the middle?

so there deff done.. i think im gonna look into some boyesen'd there like 25 bucks.. i want the power reeds right?
i think so...thats what i have and have been happy with em for a while, they will give you a bit more of a crisp throtle respons..IMHO

mr305 ...I still believe its a jetting issue..hows the plug color look? Is it black/wet or white/ashy? Did you figure out the needle position? Whats the main?
see im lost on the needle thing when i pull the slide the needle only has one place it can go.. so you dont think the reeds are bad?? see i done know crap about carbs everthing looked clean.. how do i know what the main jet is ??
