Anybody within a few hours of mineral ridge ohio keep your eye out
the stereo is an Alpine unit
the subwoofers are Dual 12" about 500 watt each in a big homemade box with no carpet covering.

yeah that really sucks,

Re: Thieves f*ck them all f*cking assholes

I bet its someone you know , or knows you JUST installed that sh*t......
years ago I got my jimmy broke into and they stole my new stereo , speakers , tool box etc etc etc . Learned my lesson about keeping things in a vehicle , I knew it had to be someone who would hear me come home with the sound up , didn't live in the best or worst neighborhood . so I replaced my stuff , BUT and this was effed up , I shouldn't have done it but I did . I Bolted down my new speakers , you would have needed a sawzall to get them out , but I also bought a cheap deck and gutted it and filled it with M80 fireworks and wired the det to the 12v power supply . my REAL deck was in the armrest console which was lockable . sure enough I got broken into a week later and the rigged deck was gone , I dunno if it ever worked ( I am sure it did if they put power to it ) and back then I didn't even think of it being sold and then the buyer hooking it up and maybe there being a little kid there or whatever . Yes thieves can piss you off bad , just gotta be diligent to protect whats yours.

aww man thats sweet! thieves deserve it.

Yea, you feel violated. 2 years ago i had my house broke into and they cleaned me out to the tune of 14 grand worth of guns and jewelery.

Now all my friends call me tony montana because i got my house surounded by night vision big ass cams and a mean ass dog that you can hear but dont know where the hell she is.

I dont live in a high crime area but kind of remote which makes it fairly simple to hide behind trees and such. You cant totally eliminate crime but you can make it very hard to get away with it.

I havent had a problem yet but my neighbors have called in the past to ask if i recorded vandals in the area in which i have from viewing hours of recordings. Trust me i didnt buy the tiny cams but i got the full size ones like you see on walmarts roof. I want people to know they are there.

I am hopeing now that thiefs will see my cams and say f*ck that and pick an easier target.

sorry man i dont live near u but i ll watch for the stuff if u have any pics that would help us. i used to live in a neighberhood FULL of theiseves they tried take my dad's snowmobile it was in summer so the drug it half way up our dirt driveway we had to have everything locked. what is wrong with people

damn that sucks. but like was said, good thing your whole set of wheels didn't go with that stuff. But it was probably someone you know. do some looking around.

I've been broken into several times even though I live outside town where the sh*t happens. I invite them to try again though.

Ok guys thanks for all the support and this is gonna be one long crazy story I'm about to write. Also sorry if my original post was a little harsh and swear filled I was pretty steaming mad at the time. Ok onto the story

Well it turns out that my friend who owned the subwoofers that I were in my jeep decided to mess with me and steal them and the stereo while I was sleeping.
Then when I woke up in the morning to find all the stuff gone, naturally I flipped out and went down to his house and talked to him about what happened he acted like he knew nothing and played along thinking they were stolen when he had the stuff the whole time.
So I gather up my friends and we go out on a hunt for the stuff since I had no idea he had the stuff. Well I start banging on doors in my neighborhood and no one says they heard or saw anything so we start looking around at people who may have taken it nothing drove all around searched all over craigslist.
So after all that I decide to go file a police report thinking they would be able to help me and find the stuff. Filed the report and was told a detective would call me monday.
After that my friends including the one who stole the stuff decide to take a trip to the mall to take my mind off things.
So we are in the mall walking around joking and just having a little fun, me and my one friend, one of the few who I can now trust, leave the mall I pack up my stuff to stay at his house for the night. Then from there we leave with another friend to go play some PS3 and he tells us that my friend told him he took the stuff.
So I ask my friend about it but he continues to deny it all, but is telling everything to my one friend who I'm sitting right next to. So I let it go for the night because I didn't feel like dealing with this crap.
In the morning I come to find out my friend had put the subwoofers in my driveway during the night, I'm not even at home, so I find out from my mom in the morning and I go home and just sitting there pissed wondering what to do and where the stereo is because he returned the subwoofers but not the stereo, which I paid my money for that I worked to earn.
So being steaming mad I hop in the jeep and go down to his house trying to stay calm enough not to bash his face in, and see him walking up his road so I talk to him and he denies ever having the stereo straight to my face then just keeps walking on. So I went down to his house and spoke with his grandpa, who doesn't really care what happens and says I have to talk to my friend about it.
Well after that I go to my friend who told me about what happened and have him call my friend who stole the stuff and have him ask where the stereo was. He tells my friend that he put the stereo on top of the subwoofers but they werent there. What made me even more mad is that he told my friend about it but doesn't have the balls to admit it to my face.
Now I don't know what to do the stereo may actually be gone for real now and I have the subs sitting in my room. I'm so lost as to what to do now.
The detective is supposed to give me a call monday and I'm gonna talk to him and possibly press charges against my friend.
I can care less for these subs what I really want is my stereo back.
What do you guys think?
