The best choice of oil

Hornets nest about to be kicked.

It would be advisable to continue using the oil you used to assemble your engine!

My choice of oil is Maxima Castor 927.

Others will tell you that it is crap, but I will not use anything else.

Use the oil you are comfortable with and continue to use it.

Do not mix oils!

Use a good quality 2 stroke oil, not cheap Walmart, chainsaw, weed eater or outboard oil.

Your choice of riding, temperature changes or wether you pre mix will also have a say in what oil to choose.

If the oil injection is still fitted you will have to use an oil which is suitable for it.

If you have cold temperatures, then you should not be using any Castor based oils.

Choose an oil that you can readily get in your area, as some oils do not like to me mixed.

What oil did you use to assemble the engine with?

Any high quality two stroke oil will do. If you run oil injection like I do, do not use castor oil.
Maxima 927 (castor oil)is not recommended in oil injected engines. I use maxima super M injector.

Bottom line... Like Blaaster said. NO CHEAP OILS. Just read the label to see if the oil of your choice is compatible with oil injection (most are).
