Here is the quick story so far and some pics (because i know everyone is gonna ask for them). Bought the Blastey for $200 figured why not a good project, only supposed to need new rings but that was well...BS. After removing the head it turns out it needs a full rebuild and a lot of other stuff, first mission was to throw it together and see what I was working with...here are the pics the day it arrived after I got her all together (minus the exhaust I know...)

Finally after yet some more beer and some automotive touch up paint, new stock front shocks, and a polished up front bumper as she sits today...

Now just waiting for the parts to come rolling in. New wiseco piston and rings, wiseco crank, main bearings and seals, gasket set, swing arm and pivot bearings and a pile of hardware that I am missing. Already here is the new rear sprocket carrier (old one was bent), new airbox lid (possibly for outwears cover, not sure yet), new head studs, reed spacer, front sprocket and some misc. hardware. Whew, so much for just new rings!

looking good dude, glad you put the shocks back on the right way and not upside down like in the first pics haha I:I. where u at in new york? i live just south of vestal/binghamton in PA.
