Hi, guys seen a few threads on "T.O.R.S" and was wondering what it actually does? could someone explain it very well to me as i am very confused about it.

also a question on transmission oil, how many oils go into the quad? do you guys refer to transmission oil that we in the uk refer to as engine oil?..or is there 2 oils that go into the quad other than in the petrol? hope i havent confused you, if you need me to explain more i will.

The TORS system is a safety circuit that is there in case your thumb throttle and the carb get out of sync.

The trans oil is your engine oil.

right ok cool, so if i take it off what happens?.. it doesnt make it faster or anythin doe sit/

throttle over ride system. there is a switch inside the thumb throttle and a sensor on top of the carb. the way it is suppose to work is if the carb gets stuck open and the throttle switch isnt depressed it kills the engine. just a safety feature that doesnt work well. we were in the mud and the throttle got stuck wot! shot right over a berm and into the bushes!
