switched to klotz, no idle..

yea thats been my biggest issue since i bought it, right now i dont even know what jets are in it, the bike was done at a shop by previous owner but besides that dont know much, when i did the top end found that it has a .90 bore and saw a hot rod on it but dont know anything about the bottom, its been running fine since i got it, so i decided not to change or mess with anything until it gives me a reason to

....famous last words

I'd at least check to be safe.

the bike was running and idleling fine until the end of the tank with the redline after i refueled with klotz is when it started doing this, i guess i can go back to redline and see if it makes a difference, i just didnt know if i had to adjust anything because of the syntetic oil, the bike runs great and no issues besides that it wont idle....

you wouldnt beleive the amount of stuff i found in my gas tank awhile back.
it wasnt runing right it was like a lean condition back firing ect.
tryed everything everybody said i should do, nothing worked.
i cleaned my gas tank and i found red piesces of plastic, pine needles, dirt, more dirt, there was also some more dirt in there.
after all that cleaning guess what ran better then ever.
my point you ran the tank out im beting that some of that dirt got into the carb and pluged up the pilot

im gonna try and clean the carb this weekend and see what happens i just think is weird that it was ideling fine until i switch oil....

I would also drain and clean the gas tank and add a fuel filter while you are at it. I have used Klotz for many years and love the stuff- I even use it in my lawn equipment and chainsaws. I was turned on to it my my friends and from talking to my local engine builders.
