Swingarm skidplate?

Thinking about getting an aftermarket swingarm skid plate. Do I remove the junk factory one? or does it stay and the aftermarket plate goes over it? Wondering.

u remove the old one and bolt the new one in its place

honestly i would spend the dough on something else cause ive hit some stuff on my old blaster and i never bend my sproket protector...
take that money and go buy some reeds or somethig

i have an aftermarket AC one and it weighs about 10x more than stock.
