swingarm rebuild kit for new extended arm

You think I can get the bearings and seals out without damaging them? I would like to clean and repack them.

no dude, dont fool with them bearings, before installing i picked the seal and jam packed them full of grease, and like i said my bike has been down 3 times in the year those were in there, (motor mods, and frying pistons)
i saw no sings of any water in there at all, those bearings will last forever if you keep the water out, by keeping the whole carrier full of grease and the axle nuts tight, i had it packed so full of grease it was coming out between the axle nuts

oh...and you got the carrier today ?????

Yeah man...... The mailman has been f'ing up...... The mail came at 3 and your package showed up atfter 7..... So he must have given it to the neighbor..... The swingarm was suppost to be here saturday didn't come till yesterday..... My seat cover was suppost to be here monday and I haven't seen that yet..... I'm calling the post office tomorrow and bitching

ok i got the all balls kit today......and guess what....... no f'ing damn caps..... it came with everything but the end caps that hold the outside seals..... i am starting to get alittle upset. i have $230 into the swingarm shipped, another $50 into the all balls kit, and i called the stealership today and they want $20 a piece for the 2 end caps. i called east coast atv and they said they have them for $5 a piece, so i am hoping i dont drive a hour there tomorrow and they doont have the right thing or they are not used.

any how, i put the sleeves (what the bolt goes through) into the bearings in the new swing arm and surprise surprise....... they dont fit. so now i am going to have to take the bearings out that came with the swingarm and put in the whole all balls kit.

i think while i have them out, i am also going to drill and tap the tubes and put in grease fittings.

so just keeping you guys updated.........................................

actually thinking about this...... does anyone have these caps out of their blaster that could give me some dimensions? like od, id, and width? i might as well just machine the freakin things out of aluminum.......

i dont think aluminum would be a good idea, too much wear at that point for aluminum

i just got my lonstar racing swingarm a little while ago and it only came with the bearings for the pivot shaft and that was it. I even asked if it came with everything and they said yes. for 600 bones they should throw that stuff in for free

just keeping you guys updated....... the swingarm is in the quad. i went to east coast atv this morning and picked up to like brand new dust caps for $2 each, a new chain roller for the front, and rear.

i got home and tore the old junk ass bearings out of the swingarm, and then drilled and tapped for the grease fittings. then i put in the complete all balls kit. i took little piece of metal off the old swingarm and fitted it to the new swinger. it is now in the bike and looks good.

once i get the carrier i got from awk painted tomorrow i ll post pictures.

over all i am very happy with the arm. just i think they should come with more then what they do. oh well..... i guess next time i ll know, if it wasnt for all this crap, i could have ordered the brake lines this week and had it on the trails today, but yeah well sh*t happens........
