What do you guys think of Supra’s? specifically mk3's. Im looking at the 87's(because of the no e-test) 7mgte turbo. I've always loved all supras, and at the moment can't afford a mk4(at least one that’s together or has an engine lol) so mk3's are lookin pretty good. I like the styling and the turbo engines seem to make decent for power. plus its RWD which I would love. I just honestly haven’t heard any opinions first hand about them like reliability, actual performance, not just numbers and vids of people ripping modded ones.
A car like this would be a great starting project to help me get into my latest choice of career.
Im in grade 12 and im having a hard time deciding what im going to do(for a career) and recently have started thinking about performance car shops/mechanics. Im just wondering if it would actually be a good career choice. Im good with cars/engines/pretty much everything(to be honest) and learn quickly and can solve problems easily, so I THINK id be pretty set going that way. I would like to eventually own my own shop. Problem is, I want to actually have business and I think I may run into a problem with just having a shop here in Ontario. I've thought about going to the U.S. to do this, but have found out recently about all the requirements to work out of country and that I can't actually keep working, it would only be a temporary visa to stay down there. Im young and still have a lot to learn, maybe im wrong, maybe very wrong, and I hope so, but im thinking there isn't as much of an opportunity to do what I want to up here in Canada. Am I wrong by saying that or does that make sense that there’s more automotive/performance/racing opportunities down in the states?
I want to make good money but I have to do something I love, and nice cars are definitely one of my favorite things, if not my favorite thing.
Thanks for any input in advance.
