we put in 2 sets of crank seals and it is still sucking oil out of the tranny what is the problem can u guys help me out please

There was someone a while back who had a leak between the spacer that slides over the crank and the crank itself.

There is also the possibility that it's leaking between the case halves and not the seals themselves.

You need to leak check your seal with the clutch cover off and spray everything down with soapy water. If there are no external leaks then the engine is leaking between the case halves between the crankcase and the transmission case. You'll have to separate the cases to fix it.

sucking the transmission fluid away and burning it? shifter seal would leak it out on the ground. A broken case could do the same thing but it's not something you can see any more than the sealant between the case halves having been sucked out. The cases still have to be split

a leak down test would make it way easier to find your problem. u can take the top end off and look in the motor between the crank and you should be able to see if the cases are cracked

Ok, there have been a few suggestions already on what your problem could be and ways to diagnose it.

Just in case you missed them I'll compile them into list format:

1) Build a leakdown tester
2) remove the clutch cover and hardware on the end of the crankshaft
3) pressurize the engine to a few PSI
4) spray the crankn seal and spacer down with soapy water to see if it's leaking at the seal.
5) if the seal is sealed but the engine continues to lose pressure, your cases are leaking between the crankcase and the transmission
6) remove the top end to diagnose a blow-out
7) split cases and reapply case sealant
8) reassemble everything and leaktest
9) start it and check your jetting

one more thought when I put mine together with all new seals it did that but then after a ride or two it stopped and I had to add a minimal amount of fluid to the tranny and haven't had any problems since is it something that just started or did you change something then it happened

we split the case and a piston lost it's skirts so the wall was split by the crankshaft nothing a little epoxy can't fix

did you put assembly grease on the lip of the seal and i like 3 wheeler rider's blaster too the one in you avatar
