stupid ?

Hey, I just got my Blaster broken in from a rebuild. I have never ridden a Blaster before but ride 2 stroke dirt bikes all the time. I was wondering if Blasters feel kinda weird when you really get on em through the gears. Its really hard to explain how it feels but its nothing like a two stroke dirt bike.

it what way does it fee wierd.. like the gears are really short??

It feels like all the gears are extremely close to the same length. On my YZ85 you can really tell a difference in the length of the gears. If this is how Blasters are supposed to be than thats cool.

i would up the front sprockit to a 14.. stock is 13:40 gearing .

I want to keep my bottom end power though because I trail ride and climb huge steep hills. Is that how they feel from the factory though?

yea mine was like that, when i was shifting i was in 6th gear some times and i never new it .. 14:40 is a good all around gearing .. i am running that now and its just fine, and i do alot of trail riding,hill climbs mudding, all that lol ..

Thanks. I might get both 13 and 14 tooth front sprocket to compare them because I think I may need a new front anyways because the teeth are bent foward which would mean its worn right?

replace all your sprockets an your chain at the same time if one is worn they probably all are i found this out when i had to change mine i spent alot more buying them seperate than i would have if i just bought a set
