i was riding my blaster today and i accidently stopped in second gear then i rode it and stopped and my shift lever is like floppy and i cant seem to find neutraul like my shift lever is down way to far any help guys thanks

edit...i see it still shifts
check where the shifter bolts/clamps onto the shift shaft

if the shift lever is tight on the shaft and not slipping there is a spring inside the clutch cover that holds the shift shaft in place. that probably broke if the lever is good

@blasterbruce yes I hit like the end of a trail and tried to turn it around but it was to narrow and stalled out it still runs and shifts but the lever is like down to far of you know what I mean

it sounds like you stripped the splines off the shift shaft. i have done that before and i tried just replacing the shift lever but just distroied another one. I ended up replacing the shift shaft and shift lever. that fixed the problem. not too expensive. the shift shaft isn't very hard metal and the splines rip off pretty ez

pull up on the shift lever and see if it slips on the shaft. if it does you need to take the bolt out of the lever and remove it from the shaft. it should slide off with some persuation. you might have to seperate the end of the shift lever with a flatblade screwdriver. then inspec the splines. if the end of the shaft is looking kind of smooth and worn it will need to be replaced. that can be done by taking clutch cover off(the cover on the oposite side of the motor). then the shaft just slides out. you can order a new one from cheapcycleparts.com make sure you order the spring and shift lever too. they are seperate. should run ya about 40- 45 bux. drain the tranny oill first or you will have a big mess

it also still shifts into every gear i have to like adjust the lever tho by bringing it up its hard to explain but its like it wqas tuck in 2nd gear when i stalled it out
