Alrite im thinking about getting a +3 stroker crank for my blaster. What all would i have to do to make it work good.I havent done any engine work on it yet but am thinking about a a/m pipe and some vf3 reeds.Someone please clearifie things up for me.

sending the jug out to get adjusted for the additional stroke is the best way to maximize the strokers potential. its a great mod and works well as a package with good reeds, pipe and big carb I:I

You should probably start thinking about eventual goals NOW instead of later.

A stroker crank is something most people do once they have the other parts needed to optimize the power potential.

A good aftermarket pipe works well on a non-stroked engine as well as a good sized carburetor.

If you are already in the market for a crank (yours is shot) then a stroker makes a bit more sense even if you don't have any aftermarket parts. It's there, while it's not really adding anything by itself it's not really hurting anything either. Once you get enough money together to get the other stuff, it's waiting for you.

You can go with any aftermarket reeds really. The vforce 3 reed block has had a history or leaking air but it is also said to produce more throttle response than the other brands and styles of replacement reeds.
