Nope it was a straight trade one 4 wheeler for another. I didn't think ahead so now I am paying the price.

should always have the previous owner give you a receipt/BOS that has his signature, what was traded or price paid, item that was traded for or bought, and info about each thing.

I know that now lol. The towing company is closed now so I cant go get it until monday, thats if I do go and get it. I really want it back I Just have a hard time paying a grand for something that is already mine ya know.

try talking to whoever handle the theft case. the cops, the DA, whatever. maybe they can help you get the fines lowered. that is, if you reported them stolen and opened a case.

There is a case opened, but the state cop/detective said that they have no control on what the towing company charges.
