L.T. you have a stock cage and reeds.

jahrastapark you have boyesen reeds on a stock cage. you dont need those extra parts that l.t.'s reed cage has......problem solved.

stock reeds are a clearish white color..aftermarkets are a yellowish color. dual stage are, well, reed petals that have a small reed inside a bigger reed. i know somebody has a pic of that...you dont have them tho. you have reg old boyesen power reeds.

To each there own

thanks for the info....

well i should say that most people dont reinstall them when they change reeds. but the color and such is all true facts.....

do these reeds look to be in good condition? i dont know how to tell. ive never changed my reeds. and if they are, theyre gonna get swapped tonight after thorough cleaning, will this have any effect on jetting

as lons as tehy arent broken your ok...and i dont believe they affect jetting...so youre in good shape

reeds can effect jetting.. probably not in your case though.. that is for sure a stock cage.. make sure te rip tips close against the cage... if they hang open probably time to replace them..
