is it possible to swap out the stock rear brake perch out for an aftermarket clutch perch so i can get rid of the bulky thing?

Do you mean the parking brake thing on top of the clutch? If so you can remove the parking brake

Yes, it can. Get rid of the parking brake, and just swap out the whole clutch perch for an aftermarket setup. ASV makes a really nice aftermarket clutch lever/perch assembly, or you could opt for a Magura hydraulic clutch kit. The hydraulic clutch kit is great whether you race hard or simply want to do away with a maintenance-intensive clutch cable.

To get rid of the parking brake on an '03 or newer Blaster, just remove the whole mechanism and install a block-off plate on the rear brake caliper. On '02 and older Blasters, you just have to buy and install an aftermarket 'shorty' rear brake cable...
