Ok so I am in the process of putting my blaster back together now I know I want to port and polish the head however I am really curious on how much of a bore the stock blaster head can take maybe even considering somehow pushing it to 72mm? that may sound crazy but I have another head laying around so I am willing to trash this one. is it possible to push the blaster to these limits if not how much can I push it?

yes u can but i think u have to get a big bore sleve and have it put in if want a big bore go for a bbk vitos is what most ppl get or for a little bit more money a ct il give u a link to it if u want

yea I know about it. however I would like to budget build my problem is my brother has a blaster with the 240 kit and factory 7 exhaust and jetted carb. I want to be able to beat him without buying a vitos 240kit so what are my options I already have a full fmf exhaust and a jet kit. I started a lil bet and said I can beat him without doing the vitos kit haha

When you say head do u mean the cylinder jug or just the head? Boring more than whats neccessary won't help much. And the head is milled and reshaped, while the jug gets ported and polished.

ok without buy a vitos get ahold of a porter on here get ur jug port and polished head milled and redesioned bigger carb better pipe f7 like ur bro has lol a stroker crank and have the jug ported for the stroker crank u should smoke his ass like nothing

yea when i say head I mean the cylinder. and anything I can do without the stroker crank because that is a little on the pricey side haha?

yea what about the install of a stroker crank. I have did tons of top ends and full builds on atvs. however I have never split cases. is that something that can be done fairly easy?

yea that may be something i consider. what about the bore cause i am currently .20 over and thats it?

Do you already have a aftermarket exhaust or any mods to the intake side such as reeds, aftermarket carb, or a different air filter setup? These would be a good starting point before port and polish, because you can only get as much air into the engine as the filter, air piping, carb and reeds will allow, along with the exhaust.

if u wana beat him start with a better pipe then id go for a bigger carb port job stroker crank get it matched for the stroker ect
