stock air filter or clamp on?

was wondering what is the best the stock air filter setup that runs under the seat, or a clamp on directly off of the carb. I currently have a clamp on uni right off of the carb and was wondering if switching it back to the setup would have any positive or negative changes. Thanks for the help guys.

The clamp on will flow more air. The stock airbox provides better protection against water and mud.

unless you have a ton of SERIOUS engine work, the stock setup without lid flows more than enough, will provide better protection and more consistant jetting.
