What is the purpose of a steering stabilizer??
My blaster is hard to turn. Will a stabilizer help with this? Is there something i can do to help with this?

Thanks

A stabilizer is like a shock absorber, it controls the "hit" to the wheels from rocks, holes. Check your steering stem. Is the top block in good shape? No burrs or rust at block? Is lower stem bearing shot? Support front end and see (feel) where it's binding. Pop tie rods from stem, then you can check stem, tie rods and ball joints seperately.

Larry covered the problem with the bike at stand still, and if that does not fix it and it is still hard to turn whilst riding, check the steering geometry.

I guess it could also be bent stem or top frame hoop, or if wheels are flipped or have extra offset you could be feeling the "bump steer" effect.

"hard to turn" compared to what ????
the way it was before ???
another blaster ???
your old utility quad ????
or the dirt bike you used to ride ???

maybe a wheatie's and spinach diet are in order ????
hahahaaaaaa

BTW, i run stabilizers on both my bikes, and will never ride with-out one again, they make it harder to turn, but way less effort to hang on, huge advantage in the ruff stuff
i say...if my arms aren't wore out after a good hard 20 minute run, and yours are hangin like wet noodles
I WIN !!!!!

Stabilisers are a must if you are into ruff stuff and potholes. Many a time they have saved my thumbs from damage hitting the holes in the MX track, they really soak up the jarring.
