stator?

do you need a stator to run you quad?..cuz i have no lights or anything on my quad..

I think so. The stator has a starting or spark coil on it.

ok, works for me..i just figured, if not then u could take that off, and it would free up some RPM's

no it has to have it and how would it give more rpms and i think u can take ur headlight coil off the stator if u want but u need the ignition coil on the stator

ya u must have the smaller coil on the stator or u will have no spark. and u might just maybe rev faster ( very doubtful) because there would me less magnetic drag. the larger coil on the stator is for the lights

well i figured if u could take the stator off then ud have less rotating mass, therefore more rpms?

and i aint gonna do that...i have lights
