Hi, I'm new here and to the world of Blasters. I've recently bought a 2002 Blaster and rebuilt it. When I try to start it, I have to kickstart like 30-40 times to get it start. Once it started, the idle doesn't maintain, I have to push the throttle a little bit to keep the engine running. Once it started, it starts in like 1 or 2 kicks. I have tested comp and it's good, sparkplug makes nice white sparks, rods, crankshaft, piston, bearings, crank seal, rings and brand new. I think it could be a carburetor problem maybe an adjustment or maybe the TORS (will look tomorrow morning if it's still there). Is the problem maybe one of those I've written?

Do you guys have any other ideas or suggestions?

Thank you...

I don't know if the chokes work the good way but this morning I've noticed that there is a leak on a crankcase gasket. Could that be the problem? And how do I check if the choke works properly. And yes my leg is tired after that many kicks...

Found the problem. Had to pay someone who knows more than me. The problem is that there was missing a clutch seal so I was losing the compression. Now is running great. I think I will love my 2 stroke.
