Stall

I have a 01 blaster I've been having a lot of problems with it I just wanna ride . I just recently cleaned the carb quad turns on second kick I let it idle it idles fine I ride it for 5 mins and it stalls one and won't start unless I put the gas on reserve and I also just cleaned the whole gas tank the gas line and on and off switch someone please help me

I dont know much about them as im new to them as well, but if its possible you could have a bad petcock(dont quote me on that though) also check your reeds. My reeds were bad and i didnt realize it and it would run good for 5 minutes and then it left me stranded on the road 3 miles from my house. HAVE YOU DONE A LEAKDOWN TEST?!?

It may be the screens in the petcock. Run a hose from the petcock into a container and watch the flow.

Ok well I don't really know what all te parts are so if you could dumb it down for me I'd love that

take the fuel line off the carb that comes from the gas tank, turn the gas on and watch the flow, put it on reserve and watch the flow, there could be a clog in the petcock which is the piece that has the fuel on/off/reserve switch. this test will tell you if you have enough fuel goin to the carb, post up results after you do this

It doesn't get any smarter or dumber than the manual, it's FREE, no reason not to read it, is there?


Also check that you can blow throughthe vent hole on gas tank lid/ cap, and can blow through the hose that goes on cap (vent hose)

i cant do that until tomorrow but thsta what would make the most sense cause after i put the gas on it just die after like 2 mins so its prolly just running off the gas in the bowl
