I have a Stock set up and was wondering if I went up a tooth in the rear would I have to add a link.seems common sence I would, just wanna double check....if so could I go down one up front and and up one in the back and use the stock chain.
Also if I'm posting in the wrong category sorry,
Please point me to the right one

Not going to get into mathematics as I do not know how stretched the stock chain is.

What I will advise is that you buy new sprockets complete with a new chain.

Yes I already kno I must replace all three but I want a little lower gearing and might end up buying the sprockets from a different vendor then the chain.sometimes it's cheaper this way.
