I do mostly trail riding and I just picked up a blaster for cheap with a cr125 motor on an 04 blaster frame. The rear tires and chain are shot on it.

Should I run 20" tires? What sprocket sizes should I get?

Need serious help here.

Thanks

I am slowly learning gearing and tire sizing. Currently the engine is running way rich and has an exhuast leak so I need to fix that stuff first and find out how it runs with what it has now and what I want it to do.

What does adding teeth on the rear do?
What about on the front?
What does a bigger tire do for acceleration/top speed?

Adding teeth in rear will increase acceleration and decrease top speed. Adding to front is oppisite. Simular with tires, without changing gearing a smaller tire will have less speed because you won't go as far for every revolution of the tire. With larger rears you might have to gear down if you don't have the mods/power to turn them. I prefer largest tire I can get just for added ground clearance, plus I like the "meaty" look. I:I
