Lmfao. For some odd reason, i feel the sprocket hub was supposed to come off the other way!
Take that axle back outta the garage and slam the axle on a 2x4.have you tried knocking the hub back the oppisite direction of travel it might of locked into the splines somehow so hit it counter clock wise a few times then try to knock it off. if you heat the hub i would poor water over the axle while you do it to keep it cool/small

that's one of the reasons i got a new carrier/axle (besides the upgrade) but i had a pipe wrench and a cheater bar on my old stuff and all that i was doing was digging the teeth of the bar into the nuts. so i bought a shee axle and newer carrier for the hydros lol

i just took my axle bolts off 2 hrs ago.. heated with a propane torch and took a pick and a hammer and came off smooth
haha well i hammered at it again just bent it more. Im gonna grind at it tomorrow for a while if she doesnt come off ill have to buy a new carrier

Ok 2 and a half hours of grinding and i got my carrier!!!!

lol!! been there done that but mine were carrier bearings
now make sure you use a heavy duty grease on the axle where it goes in the carrier and on the brake rotor hub and THE SPLINES WHERE THE SPROKEY HUB GO so you dont have this problem again

wouldnt hurt, i always use a heavy duty grease for like farm use, like implements and tractorys holds up good against the elemints or a auto motive wheel bearing grease
i got a little bucket of quakerstate wheel bearing grease. ill coat everything once i go to put it back together
exactly.. just put it on the spines for the brake hub and sproket hun and where the axle rides on the bearings
was doing some reading and searching for good info last nite and came accross this thread and said to myself ohh f*&^k here we go.but the good news was the bolts were a bugger to get off but the sprocket thingy slid off with no issues.the last owener went and pounded the bearings in and used orange silicone for a gasket haha
