Hey guys I have another question. I want to make my gearing a touch higher and go down just a touch on the rear sprocket. Is there a guide anywhere to tell the top speed with sprocket size? I pretty much want to take it to the point where 1st gear is almost where second is now. I ride it around witht eh big bore and stuff and find myself never using first. Thanks!

well for the 15 you have to grind a bit, a 14 in the front will make a difference, but your running a 240 kit you probably want a little more top end so i would go with the 14/39 or 14/38

there was a thread a lil while back about sprockets.. and aparently our motors dont care for the big front sprocket, go 14/40 14/38 or go up on rear tire size

i ran stock 13/30 with 22s all winter and hated it... 1st gear was useless, it was let clutch out and pull it right back in to shift to second... went to 14/40 with 18s and loved it

What is a good gearing for the track but can also be good for trails I went to duramtown in ga and went to the track and I can't get out of the burms fast enough to clear the next jump so what's a good gearing for track that can be good for trails too but I still want top end to

I just got my 12 tooth in the mail today, but I haven't had a chance to put it on yet. I'll be running 12/40 with 22's. most of the trails I ride are really tight and have a few hill climbs in them. I rarely have a chance to hit 5th or 6th so hopefully this works out better than my current 14/40. I'll let you know how it works, If I ever get a day off workX(
