Haha I had just thought it was a 2-strokers rule to carry spare plugs on the trail. I usually have 3-4 spare plugs and a plug wrench for bad situations in a plastic bag in the tool compartment. You wouldn't believe how many times they have saved me.

NGK b8eg FTW!!!!!!!! I like the platinum plugs the best.Compared to a b8es the eg has a more redefined spark.I however would steer clear from an iridium plug.They tend to mis fire at high idle.b8es or b8eg and you will be fine.

0.018? sure? i read anywhere between .020-0.030 usually 0.028. theres not even a .18 on the gap tool starts at .020
