Hey how's it goin everyone, just had a quick question reguarding my spark plug wire and cap. Should I be able to remove the cap that goes over my spark plug from my spark plug wire ? My lady still starts and seems to run good, but I was concerned that if my cap is not suppossed to come off like that then I might not be getting the strongest spark possible. Just let me know if that's normal or not, thanks !

If it will not tighten up when you screw it, the screw inside has possibly chewed the strands of wire.
You should have enough length to be able to cut off 3/8" off the end of the wire, and then screw the cap back on.
