I am having one of those weeks, Like ya know, when you just want to knock out the very next person you see, because you have had a week from hell!

Well that is where I was at earlier today!X( On top of work sucking extra bad and three teenage kids and a fat ole' lady pissing me off i was trying to tackle this VVVV

I bought some VF3's to use while i do some porting work on the Rad Valve- and for the life of me swore that something wasn't right, Like it wouldn't go together right ( even though they were brand new). So I Pm'd the 2smoker and took pics, also decided to call Moto Tassanari tech support , to see why My stupid dumb ass couldn't figure out how to put together the VF3 cage and reeds. I had VF2's but they were old style screws that held the reeds in place. (no brainer). But these sombitches didn't like me. My problem was how to hold the outermost reeds in place- DUH :-[ :-[ :-[

Moto said they do not make what i was asking for and i'd have to buy a new reed valve!! YIKES!
After discussions with 2smoker, His brother and AWK, four molsons, and a smoke, I'm happy to report I know what the FUK i'm doing now!

All together and ready for install!!!
I think it's time for a couple more brewski's! I:I

pics or your lying, of the cage together and the 4 dead molson soldiers !!!!!!!!!!!

and i'd hold off on porting that rad valve till you feel what the vf3's and a proper carb are gonna feel like, you may just wanna keep that "paper weight" stock so it will resale easier ????????

man you thought u had problems
i just found 3 more stripped head bolts lol
makes me want to throw this ported jug in the garbage and get the 240 going

Ya right noobs! Joe is jealous! Looking at the cone shaped thing on the VF3 and the Rad valve opening, They are just about the same size! I actally have to port that cone thing out for the larger carb boot! I'm gonna do a comparision on the ass dyno, and see what kind of difference there may be!

i only had it off maybe 3 times.
just better off to get the 240 fixed and ready to go.
sh*t your canadian?or you just smuggle the beer in the states?lol

I had mine off twice with no problems, have ya tried to rethread the stud? I'd me happy to loan ya the tool for that, as long as i get it back!!

oh lol
i retapped them and used heli coil.hoping the locktite will help em from pulling out.im waiting for them to dry out then try and torqe em.
but thanks for the offer.
if all fails i might try time certs if it isnt too late

OH so holes in the cylinder are stripped, I thought you were talking about the actual threads on the stud....

no no the head stud holes.just went and tightend em up.i re did 5 and the 6th just gave out lol

that happened to me with my first stock jug, every damn head stud pulled out... X(. ive stopped torquing my head down after that and just get it TIGHT but not 20lbs tight

wonder if putting locktite 409 in with the heli coil would stop them from wanting to rip out
sux having stripped head holes, you never know when they are going to pull out
