these two still worry me but not as much.

would you guys run this? have you?

Can't mess with money... stroker bbk is an expensive ordeal (trust me, I know! :p) done right. Hard to find performance parts inexpensive

The spot on the case that "you're really worried about" is the one you should be worried about. That is a pretty gnarly gash straight into the crankcase. I believe, not treated properly, that could easily become an airleak and necessitate splitting the cases again to solve.

The other two are located inside of the motor mount cavity and not against anything crucial (there's another layer in there before you get to anything important). Very common to see where someone didn't do it correctly and pried the cases apart with a screwdriver or the like 8-| not good obviously but not show stoppers!

how would I go about treating it ?? lap it flat? I think the gouge is to deep i could do the aluminum repair with the harbor and freight stuff but im afraid I will never get it flat again

That's pretty deep to lap completely flat. You don't want to actually take any measurable amount of material off while lapping the cases, only get the material that's there to the same level.

The "duralumin" and "aluminum brazing rod" is mostly zinc and the zinc is actually harder than the aluminum. It's tough to get that stuff to lap back flat with the aluminum without taking off too much aluminum with it.

Check your PM's, I got your one early this morning but had work to do. I'm going to reply now.
