What kind of bike do you have? Honestly what kind of shape is it? I can see things wrong with the blaster . Bald tires, missing hood and tank cover, light. Seat is worn meaning it has had lots of use=worn out parts. Even with receipts its a new engine that don't run. At least do a comp test, less than 120 on new top means there's trouble already.
One good thing is it has hydro brakes.

Always slays me, if it's that cheap to fix why not?

it has fenders but no hood/headlight in other pics, but it is a beat up repainted 03
i was thinkin for the bike i dont use its a good parts quad with front hydros for my 99

i think im just gonna get it as long as the wheels spin strait

but ya comp test or $200 dude

does my 99 have a cdi i can swap over to run his bike?

Still didn't say what your bike is? Don't matter to me, just hate seeing peeps getting hosed. I know cdis are different as is stator I belive

95 rm125 with procircuit suspension new wheel bearings and a new/used gastank

i bought it for the woods but its just too muddy back there

i paid 700 and fixed some sh*t im trying to get the 700 back or a descent trade

I would have to see paperwork to beleave the rebuild. I would go over it very good. I kinda have the feeling it a freshly painted turd.

here are some more pics

i cant figure out how to force the resize in forum,
i coud resize em on my end but you would lose detail

it looks to me like it was raced or abused, hence all the chopped parts (no front or rar bumper, hood or headlight) and the rear master bracket looks rewelded

i'm gonna go out on a limb, but that could possibly be a 2006 model SE blaster. i am just going by the rear plastics decals though. maybe, maybe not.

you should look it over really good and check all the usual things when you go to look at a quad.

where are you located? because i have an extra blaster that i might could part with and guarantee that it will run good.

update now its "i bought the wrong piston...a 66mm instead of a 66.50mm and thats why it doesnt run, the cdi is fine

i told him the quad +300 as is, or fix it and we'll trade strait up

for the $400 hit i would have spent that doing hubs and front hydros, and $300 cash gets me shocks plus a donor swingarm to extend

hes gonna think about it and get back to me

that thing is worth maybe 4-5 depending if the motor is decent and not all hacked up on the inside, u cant trust me these CL guys, they just want to rid their problem on u.

with the .5 diff would the rings even seal? are we talking maybe 60psi?
i thought .3 couldnt be made up with rings

i thought he said it was only a cdi problem? if i was u i would ask him to pull the head and take pics of the inside or if hes close by go over there and ask to take it apart, for all u know there could be pieces of the piston in the bottom end, i would at least pull the head and see what the inside looks like.
if hes not shady and has nothing to hide then he shouldnt have a problem with it.
