My friend got stuck in the mud and shifted too hard we had to pull it back cause it leaked out all the oil!!! anyways i guess ill wait because theres only one set of cases on e bay and they are A Little Expensive

same exact thing happin to me today but my chain popped off n some how caught the shifter n broke some way as urs

ya i just did the same exact thing yesterday to mine... did the alumi weld stuff work or what did u end up doin. kinda short on cash right now to which sucks. please get back to me some one

I know that this is an old thread,but if you have to go as far as to pull the engine,and split the case, and weld it/braze it,or what ever,...You might as well just get a replacement case. If it was 40 years from now and the blaster was a rare breed,and cases halves were at a premium price,I could see doing the welding repair.

if you look,you can find a case half at "reasonable" prices.
