Okay every where i look online people have been saying the dg pipe and silencer are crap so is it really that worth it buying a new pipe and silencer or should i just buy a new expansion chamber and leave the dg silencer the silencer and expansion chamber are welded together in a really crappy way then i also wanted to know are the adjustable timing plates worth that $70 and i have one of those oko 30mm carbs i heard they are a pain to set up so maybe the guy i bought it from didn't set it up right and i wanna get as much otta this wheeler as i can power wise just so my buddy will stop calling it a little kids toy since his 400ex is sooooo much better hahahaha I'm sorry I'm just so against 4 jokes now its ridiculous i used to love them thumpers now i can't stand to see or hear them

Do u know if any other Yamaha wheeler has the same stator components my stator crapped out and i got a bear tracker sitting in my grave yard i was thinking maybe it would be the same

I would go for a new pipe. You will be amazed with the difference :)

I suggest a DMC. FMF has more power than DG, but its such a basic pipe i never cared for.

After running a few LRD and a DMC system, I wouldnt but fmf again just because I know the blaster potential

Alright i see now there's 2 dgs i got a regular lookin one but that other one looks kinda cool but yea after i read about that pipe being crap I'm getting a new one I'm kinda aiming for more mid or top kinda of hit but it won't hurt to have more bottom end i just like having power more in the mids and I'm looking at doing that now to my plate it seems worth it how many degrees do u guys think u can go for advancing it does it take alotta power off the top end or just a little since I'm not holding it wot like a joker its bored .80 over if that has anything to do with advancing timing also i always see online u can put a spacer before ur reeds or after what if u did both now I'm not talking huge spacers

I had best results adjusting only 2mm , the reed spacer I didn't notice any difference, get the head ported , best gain I have ever seen you won't be disappointed, I have the 240 kit and got it ported by KOR very good price and work.

Yea i was thinking porting it but I'm gonna wait on that first i got quite a few machines that aren't running and im just trying to get some ideas on what I'm doing first but I'm still wondering if anyone has tryed two reed spacers i already have one but I'm wondering if u can put two on one before reed cage one after i was kinda thinking if u did that wouldn't u get the best of both worlds top and bottom end or will the motor just run a little crappy or better and yeap i never really noticed anything from them spacers but "they" say it helps
