who has them what do you have and pics unfortantly I broke my camra and what do you like better sled or quad I have a skidoo 550f x thats modded with 90hp and it runs with 440 no problem ands looks itz tricked

I've got an old 1980 john deere trailfire 340 just to screw around on. I got it for $100 from a friend. It's fun but my '03 blaster is waayy funner and I like 4wheelers way better because you can ride a fourwheeler all year round but with a snowmobile you can only ride for about 4 months out of the year

I ride my dads 1999 Polaris 500 XC SP. He bought it for me to ride when i was 12, and i think im gonna keep riding it. It probably has 95-100 hp stock. And its gonna stay stock. It has a little under 7k miles, and ive put 1300 miles on this year. I think it tops at 95 cause i havent got it past 95 yet. Itll get there quick though. Dad has a 99 Polaris 700 XC, not as nice as mine. Its done 110, and is a torque monster. It has 9300 miles, and hasnt been opened up yet. It has an exhaust leak or something so it sounds awesome.

Don't get me wrong, snowmobiles are a blast to ride but i just don't think its worth the money because you have such a short time to ride them unless you live in new york or something

Yeah, it doesnt pay to have sleds down here. Usually we might get to ride 4 days a year here. So far weve rode a week total here, and 200 miles. But we drive 7-8 hours north and go riding for a couple days. Its a biotch though cause we get 10-12 mpgs the whole way,and it takes forever. Weve made 2 trips this year, maybe 1 more hopefully.

nice cats and poos and im actaul in the process of doing a 440/800 conversion so a race sled with 800 mod motor equals 180hp hahaha

I have 2 old Arctic Cat Jag ground pounders, (79 & 80) this is one of them :o lol.

Kinda why I like the old ones! Lots of spare parts & easy/fun to work on. Love my quad, sleds, chainsaw, & weedeater all about the same! It's a noise/smell thing most of my neighbors will never understand, hahaha. :D

I have always wanted one, but we don't have enough snow down here to justify one, I will just stick with my blaster and ride it year round, including in the snow, lol.

Thanks, this summer I have an M-10 suspension to put in as well as a 144" x 1.5" track. I'll get some pics when I complete it.

that triple is real nice I have a 09 skidoo 800r now with a clutch kit, studs and alittle porting done to the cylinder its and full dynoport exhuast its real nice........I bet the way you have that triple setup its probley as nice as the new sleds with the tall risers and is that a polaris 440iq seat and you redid it when i get pics of my sleds I will put them up I have them on photobucket but I dont no how to do that

Thanks, yah the seat is from a polaris pro-xr and I made up my own "yamaha" seat cover. I love the riding position of the bars and seat, it feels just as good as the new sleds if not better.
If you have the pics in photobucket just copy the IMG code of the pic to your message in here.

actually your XCSP is pushing 105hp from the factory, then in 2000 they made a 50th anniversary edition that put out 110hp (i had a 2000 XCSP 500 50th anniversary edition), they did this by opening up the exhaust ports and giving it a better exhaust

i had that 500 up to 100 but thats when it stops

i loved that thing but now moved on to a 800 rev, 10 times better of a suspension
