Smoke like crazy

im not paying for any of the parts sooo it dont matter to me :P

If its free why not do it right then u won't have any more problems. If u only change one sprocket I'd at least recommended a case saver or somthing. Just change them all u can buy it as a set and be good to go! 50-80 bucks for a nice set off eBay.

Having fun for one day is worth it but u will always regret it in the end. Better to do it once The right way an be done. Trust me I found out the hard way on a couple of things.

I can't find any case savers for the blaster

That was a good old dose of sarcasm, the point wasnt ur fine as long as u have a case saver it was do it right the first time so that u won't have anything to worry about.

I changed my front sprocket for one ride it lasted exactly half a ride snapped off and damn near cracked my case it's got a mark and all!

Replaced the chain an sprocket as a set been fine since. Do your self a favor and save the time, money, hasel, and potential injury and do it right once and be done. Did u order leak tester?

nope did not order a leak down tester yet. i think shes about to blow up, sounds like theres a lot of slack.

I guess so buddy. That's a nice bike to just blow up. Fix the thing stop ridin it get it right and then start riding. Your still smoking bad? Why don't u just buy Awks tester or make ur own or somthing. Leak test it and fix the leak.

we changed the carb on it and it stopped quite a bit! went from a 35mm tmx to a 28mm pwk. after we changed the carb is when we could really hear it making noises. when my dad got the cylinder ported by ken he said that the cylinder is kinda sloppy. when i blows up my dad said hes putting a stroker in it.

If you are having unexplained noises maybe it is detonation you are hearing.

Have you ever checked the jetting?

What do you hope to gain by destroying a good motor?

It must be great to have unlimited funds.

Leak test it and check the jetting.

Ken o connor said the cylinder is on the high tolerence scale. so its sloppy on the sides. my dad is gonna bore it over .20 and get a new piston. i just wont ride it till then so i dont mess anything up.

I just love to hear that. /\ /\

There are so many out there that will just ride the crap out of a motor in poor condition until destruction.

The good news is that you have deceided to refrain from riding until you get the problems fixed.

just got a new chain and back sprocket last year so I should be fine. the front one is still fairly new.

I sounds very much like the old chain is ramping up the teeth of the new sprocket trying to tear it apart.

Have my words been falling on deaf ears, a worn chain will not marry with an new sprocket.
