slowly lost spark

ok iv read simuler problems mine is that one time i started to get a little bit of spudder here and there then stopped then one time just died out walked home went back to pull home with friends grizzly and i threw it in 2nd gear and it started after letting it turn over for like 20 seconds and ran fine then got home would start right back up if it was still hot from just running if not i had to pull start it then just died after a few of them pull starting times and now no spark at all iv checked everything almost ........got new cdi had spare top coil on the frame checked the t.o.r.s i was wondering if that sounds like the way the stator coil goes out at time's i got current coming from it but might be low im not sure what readings i need but if its not stronge enouph to make it to the top coil and spark plug so maybe its weak and shot.... or something else still possible other than the stator coil ? and does that sound the way a stator coil goes out alot... slowly like i explained please help me guys iv been doing this stuff all my life never had this kind of stuff happen?
 
well... by the sound of it its 1 of a few things... (mayyybe a combo.. but i doubt it....)

1.) very well might be your stator coil going out... if you are going to replace it, might as well put an adavanced timing one in while you're in for some proformance boosts... (+3... +4 is all good)

2.) your wires that connect your spark plug cap to the rest of the thing may be shot, that is the first thing you outta check... make sure that they wires in that cord are not freyed or snapped or disconnected

3.) you said you've checked your TORS, well.... you mayyy want to remove it, but this is your last option.. cuz doubt that it is this...

wow man thanks for the reply iv been waiting but anyways iv disconected the tors and check most the wiring except where its never been messed with and still has factory tape on it and when i get a new stator do i have to buy one of those special fly wheel Puller tool or could i find a way to pull it my self havnt yet haha
 
where might i get a flywheel puller tool and how much to spend for one please could ya let me know and this is the first time iv ever needed on to pull a flywheel iv always had reguler pully pullers and they worked i donno why they got to make em like that im gonna try a local shop see if i could borrow one maybe or could ya let me know the cost for one
 
same problem with mine... it was the plug cap, i could hall the clutch in and open the throttle and it would just sputter, i put in an iridium plug and new plug cap
