Hey I've never had a blaster but for some reason in 1st and second gear it just doesn't pick up as fast as it does in 3rd and 4th is that a tors problem or is that just how they are

what happens when you pin it and let go of the clutch in first gear?
1st 2nd is geared lower then 3rd and 4th gear.

I would not try that ^^^^lol. Have you plug chopped to confirm jetting and or needle position. Mine was a little sluggish at first, until I got it dialed in right, mine was the needle, because of my elevation

Sounds like jetting to me. Also make sure your air filter is clean , and that you leak test. Then plug chop like stated already..

Definitely jetting on your needle. probably too rich, experiment with positions and see what happens, make sure your filter is clean!
