The snow is starting to fly here, so now the need to have my sled working better suspension wise is much greater than that of getting my blaster together. Sled is a Ski Doo Formula III 600, rear suspension is the C7 (dubbed the back breaker). The goal here is to make the sled much more comfortable to ride because of my ACL tear that was repaired at the end of July. Gonna start getting some stuff together and i will get some pics up of the base sled!

Here's some pics of the sled:

Yes, i did take it for a quick spin around my yard before i put it up so i could work on it :P

according to ski doo its around 550lbs (heavy pig :P), that should drop a few pounds with the new skid and the couple other things i want to do to it after i get a knee brace (can it to drop a couple pounds and give it an ungodly sound and toss on a polycarb hood to shave off around 17lbs alone)

Heavy but not too bad I:I Can't wait too see whats in store, sounds like you got a good plan.

should be a sled i can keep around for a good while longer once im done ;)

When the day comes, i will rip the motor out of the chassis and drop it in one of them new fangled ones :P

FINALLY got the skid i bought in the mail on friday. Started working on getting it mounted today. I got one of the rear brackets free so i can reposition it, going to finish the other one tomorrow. My how have i forgotten how much fun steel rivets are XD

Got to put in some time on the sled today, 3 hrs of it to be exact :P Sucker is a different animal now with those Fox front shocks and the rear skid. A little tuning with the suspension and it should ride amazing. I also just ordered up a 3" pivoting riser. Unfortunately i didnt get any pics today, i brought out my phone to snap a few and it died -.- I will see if i can get some tomorrow if i get off work in time.
