Silicone intakes???

I have a 35mm airstriker and a cfm box, well the problem is the rubber coupler that comes with the air box sucks! It's a wrestling match to get the carb on and off so I was looking at silicone intakes . Com and not sure what size reducer to order. Any input from some one with the same set up would be great! Thanks

Intake Pipe Reducer

you need a 2.5" x 2.25" for that combo
i have the red one on my cfm box to 34mm pj
measure the back OD. of your carb to be sure, the cfm tube is definately 2.5"

Ya the carb opening is 2.34 and silicone intakes say that they will stretch and eighth of an inch. Not sure if 2.25 would be enough, do you think so?

i'd say so, they are pretty flexible
2.5" x 2.5" is going to be too big for the carb @ 2.34",
get the 2.5" x 2.25", it'll stretch to fit.

i think slickerthanyou is using the same silicon reducer for both his 33 and 35 airstrykers
maybe hold off ordering till he see's this thread ?

Get the 2.25" on the carb end and it'll slip right onto the carburetor.

Just depends on what size the tube on the CFM boxes is.
