Silencers (fmf)

I have a way old powercore 2 on my blaster or im assuming its a power core bcuz all it says is riva racing fmf. anyway, its pretty loud and i was wondering does it need repacking or is it supposed to be that loud. And if i get a new (fmf, my fav) which do you reccomend.

you really should be packing it multiple times a year if youre a heavy rider.

Haha. well i just got it anyway. I still wasnt even used to it when it blew up. im pretty pissed at my unlce, he gave me the quad for free i had it shipped from florida for 500 bucks. put 7 into it. and now its blown. so i could have bought another one for what i put into it, thanks uncle dana.

i believe they are suppose to be that loud. Mine is really loud over my stock silencer.. i would say about 3x louder or more at idle..

yeah its obviously gonna be louder over stock, its higher performance. for instance when you put an exhaust system on a truck it gets louder and deeper. same idea just quads. but i took it apart, im gonna get it repacked. NICE. hey does anyone have any ideas on how to clean up fattys/silencers other than sandblasting?

try this sh*t called "simi chrome" you can get it at the auto parts store. It will polish your pipe and silencer right up.
