Silencer Switcharoo

Yes, the pipe is what makes the sound. I've got a stock "silencer" on my FMF fatty...because it's marginally more quiet, and I'm too lazy to put the FMF "silencer" back on. FMF has the same connection as stock, in the same location.

If you were just going to get one, I would just get the pipe. While the stock silencer is most likely more restrictive than any aftermarket one, a silencer is a silencer, the pipe is what makes the difference.
 
yes but some time "silencers is a silencer" isnt the case some companys like lrd FMF what not they test there silencer pipe combo to get most power out that product if im right it has some help with being restricive like a stock pipe and a fmf silencer is good but when you put a pipe on a stock silencer your restricting the pipe from leting out all of it potential power. I think this is correct fix me if im wrong lol =))
