Should my hose be this long?

back to the point tho, buy a 5 dollar little short breather with the valve, its good cheap thing that u don't have to ever worry about...
Good point. It might be worth checking the cap itself. Theres a one way check valve in there with a ball. It could be stuck preventing air movement.
lol ok i spilt a lot of dirt in it... oh well... im sure theres all kind of junk in my carb and tank...

yea +10 hp!!!!!!! acts like NOS if u run it in gear while u do that! lol. most of the dirt that can get in there wont make it past the holes in the valve. but it will clog it. i would take ur petcock out and carb bowl just to make sure and clean it.
My son's bran new raptor 90 had a pinched breather hose. The thing would run like a top for a couple of hundred yards then sputter out like it ran out of gas. I cut the hose just before the pinch and that fixed the problem.
My banshee would run like a scalded dog thru all the gears then sputter out and sometimes stall about half way thru 6th gear. I replaced the gas cap and that fixed the problem.

Only thing good about having the blaster, it fits on the trailer with my 400ex great. Turn it sideways, have the 400 on straight... If i got a z400 like im looking at as a... practice bike (always wanted to have a... practice bike...:lol
i'd have to stand it up or hang it off... the little 5x10 trailer...so yeah.... anyway... life is good...
so guys... i got 25 pounds of peanuts free... i went in TSC... and they gave em to me... wow... ok... yeah... life is fine....
